1. Acceptance of These Terms

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the WasherDoctor website (the “Site”) and your engagement with WasherDoctor for washing machine repair services. By accessing or using the Site, submitting a service request, or scheduling a service visit with WasherDoctor, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, please do not use the Site or engage WasherDoctor’s services.

WasherDoctor reserves the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. Changes take effect when posted to the Site. Your continued use of the Site or services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

2. Website Use

The WasherDoctor website is provided for the purpose of informing visitors about our washing machine repair services, enabling service requests, and providing useful information to California homeowners about appliance repair.

You agree to use the Site only for lawful purposes and in a manner that:

  • Does not violate any applicable federal, state, or local law or regulation
  • Does not infringe the rights of any third party
  • Does not transmit harmful, deceptive, or malicious content
  • Does not interfere with or disrupt the operation of the Site
  • Does not attempt to gain unauthorized access to any portion of the Site or its infrastructure
  • Does not scrape, copy, or reproduce Site content without permission

WasherDoctor reserves the right to restrict or terminate access to the Site for any user who violates these Terms.

3. Service Information

The information provided on the WasherDoctor website — including descriptions of washing machine problems, repair guidance, cost ranges, brand information, and diagnostic content — is intended for general informational purposes.

While WasherDoctor makes reasonable efforts to ensure the accuracy of the content on this Site, we do not warrant that all information is complete, current, or applicable to every specific situation. Appliance repair involves variables that cannot always be anticipated in general content. The information on this Site does not constitute professional repair advice for your specific machine without an in-person diagnosis by a qualified technician.

WasherDoctor’s washing machine repair services are available in California only. Service availability may vary by location. We will confirm service availability before scheduling any appointment.

4. Service Requests and Appointments

Submitting a service request form on the WasherDoctor website, calling our service line, or sending an email inquiry constitutes a request for contact — not a confirmed service appointment. A service appointment is confirmed only when WasherDoctor communicates a specific date and time to you and you accept it.

WasherDoctor will make reasonable efforts to schedule service in a timely manner, including same-day service where scheduling and location allow. However, same-day availability cannot be guaranteed in all circumstances.

You agree to provide accurate information when submitting a service request, including your correct location, washer brand and type, and a description of the problem. Inaccurate information may affect our ability to prepare appropriately and may impact the efficiency of the service visit.

5. Pricing and Estimates

All pricing and cost ranges shown on the WasherDoctor website are provided for general reference only. They represent typical ranges for common repairs in California and are not guaranteed quotes for your specific repair situation. Actual costs depend on the specific fault diagnosed, the parts required, labor involved, and your location.

A specific written estimate will be provided after an on-site diagnosis by a WasherDoctor technician. No repair work will begin until you receive and authorize a written estimate. The written estimate provided before work begins is the binding cost for that repair — additional charges will not be added after authorization without your prior approval.

The diagnostic fee is charged for the service visit and the on-site diagnosis, regardless of whether you proceed with a repair. If you authorize a repair, the diagnostic fee is credited toward the total repair cost.

6. Diagnostics and Repairs

WasherDoctor technicians will perform a diagnostic assessment of your washing machine before recommending or performing any repair. This assessment is not a guarantee that all faults will be identified during a single visit — appliances can have multiple issues, and some may only become apparent after other repairs are completed.

If additional faults are discovered during a repair, we will notify you and provide a revised estimate before proceeding with any additional work.

WasherDoctor may, at its discretion, decline to perform a repair if the repair would be unsafe, not feasible given parts availability, not in the customer’s financial interest, or beyond the scope of our services for that type of machine.

7. Customer Responsibilities

When scheduling and receiving washer repair service, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate information about your location, washer details, and the problem
  • Ensure the washer and work area are reasonably accessible for the technician
  • Be present or have an authorized adult present during the service visit
  • Review the written estimate before authorizing any repair work
  • Inform the technician of any known prior repairs, known parts replacements, or relevant history
  • Ensure payment is made in accordance with the agreed terms

8. Parts and Repair Work

WasherDoctor uses quality parts appropriate for each repair. Where OEM (original equipment manufacturer) parts are used, we will indicate this. Where equivalent aftermarket or quality replacement parts are used, we will inform you as part of the written estimate.

All parts used in a repair become the property of the customer upon installation. Old or replaced parts will be shown to the customer upon request before removal and will be available for customer inspection.

9. Service Availability and Limitations

WasherDoctor provides washing machine repair services in California. Service availability varies by geographic location. Not all areas of California are currently served. We will confirm availability for your specific location before scheduling.

WasherDoctor does not guarantee that all washing machine problems can be repaired. Some situations — including discontinued part availability, irreparable damage, or a repair cost that is not financially reasonable for the machine — may result in a recommendation for replacement rather than repair.

Service may be affected by factors outside our control, including weather, traffic, supply chain delays affecting parts availability, or other circumstances. We will communicate any scheduling changes as promptly as possible.

10. Payments

Payment is due upon completion of the service, unless otherwise agreed in advance. WasherDoctor will communicate accepted payment methods at the time of scheduling or upon arrival. Invoices will be provided for all completed services.

Failure to pay for services rendered may result in the withholding of any written repair documentation and may affect future service availability.

11. Cancellations and Rescheduling

If you need to cancel or reschedule a confirmed service appointment, please notify WasherDoctor as early as possible — preferably at least 24 hours before the scheduled time. Late cancellations or no-shows may result in a cancellation fee where the technician has already been dispatched.

WasherDoctor reserves the right to reschedule appointments when necessary due to technician availability, scheduling conflicts, or circumstances outside our control. We will notify you of any rescheduling as promptly as possible.

12. Limitation of Liability

WasherDoctor’s liability for any claim arising from a service provided — whether related to workmanship, parts, advice, or any other aspect of the service — is limited to the amount paid for the specific service that gave rise to the claim.

WasherDoctor is not liable for:

  • Pre-existing damage or issues with the washing machine that were not caused by WasherDoctor
  • Consequential or indirect losses, including costs arising from the washer being out of service
  • Damage resulting from customer-provided inaccurate information about the machine or its history
  • Issues arising from the customer’s failure to follow maintenance advice provided after repair
  • Failure of parts or components not installed or serviced by WasherDoctor

Nothing in these Terms limits WasherDoctor’s liability for fraud, gross negligence, or any liability that cannot be excluded or limited under California law.

13. Website Content — Disclaimer

17. Changes to These Terms

WasherDoctor may update these Terms at any time by posting a revised version to this page and updating the “Last Updated” date. We encourage you to review these Terms periodically. Continued use of the Site or WasherDoctor services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

18. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any dispute arising from these Terms or from services provided by WasherDoctor shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the State of California.
