The more detail you can provide about your washer and the problem, the better prepared we arrive — and the higher the chance of completing the repair in a single visit.
Washer Brand & Type
LG, Samsung, Whirlpool — and whether it’s a front-loader or top-loader. This tells us which parts to bring and which failure patterns to expect.
Model Number (if available)
Usually on a sticker inside the door frame or on the back of the machine. Even a partial model number helps us identify the correct parts before arriving.
The Exact Symptom
Describe what the machine is doing — or not doing. “Drum full of water,” “makes a grinding noise during spin,” “completely unresponsive” — specifics matter for diagnosis.
Any Error Codes Displayed
Write down any codes shown on the display — OE, 5E, F21, UE, etc. These codes narrow the diagnostic path significantly and can save time on the first visit.

Contact & Scheduling Questions
Common questions about reaching WasherDoctor, booking service, and what to expect.
Call before noon for same-day service availability in most California cities. When you call, describe the washer brand, type, location, and the specific problem — that information helps us schedule the right technician and, where possible, bring the most likely parts for a same-visit repair. For an active leak or a drum full of water, mention that urgency and we will prioritize accordingly.
Call directly. Active water leaks, machines with standing water in the drum, and mid-cycle failures are treated as urgent situations. Provide your city, washer brand, and describe what is happening. We will determine same-day availability immediately and get a technician to you as quickly as possible. Do not keep running a leaking washer — turn it off and, if possible, turn off the water supply valve behind the machine.
The most useful details are: (1) washer brand and type (front-load or top-load), (2) model number if you can find it — usually on a sticker inside the door frame, (3) exactly what the machine is doing or not doing, and (4) any error codes displayed on the screen. You do not need all of these — we can work with whatever you have — but each additional piece of information helps us prepare for the visit.
Yes. WasherDoctor charges a diagnostic fee for the service visit. That fee is credited toward the cost of any repair you authorize. If you decide not to proceed with the repair after receiving the estimate, you pay only the diagnostic fee and leave with a written explanation of what was found. We never recommend repairs we have not diagnosed, and we never begin work before you have authorized it in writing.
We aim to respond to all form submissions within a few hours during business hours (Monday – Saturday, 8am – 6pm). If your situation is urgent, call directly rather than waiting for a form response — phone contact gets you the fastest scheduling. For non-urgent inquiries, the form is a convenient option and we will follow up by phone or email to confirm details and scheduling.
